At Asaba, guests can enjoy the finest in traditional Japanese performing arts.

One of the highlights of the Asaba experience is the Noh stage, which was donated by Viscount Toshika Maeda, the former lord of the Daishoji Domain.
The stage was relocated from Fukagawa Tomioka Hachimangu Shrine in the late Meiji period (1868-1912) by the seventh-generation proprietor Yasuemon Asaba.
For the last 40 years or so, the Noh stage has become a central part of the "Asaba Cultural Journey," showcasing the finest masters of traditional Japanese performing arts, such as Noh, Kyogen comedy, Shinnai storytelling, and Japanese dance in breathtaking seasonal performances.
Come experience your cultural journey with performances by living national treasures or/and master performarces.
